The importance of nutrition should not be underestimated.  The food we eat affects more than our waistline: it influences how we feel on a daily basis, productivity, the ability to exercise and be active, energy levels, how we are perceived, and how we feel about ourselves.

The typical American diet ensures poor health, low energy, high risk factors for disease or death, expensive prescriptions, and the promise of consuming our golden years with medical appointments and hospital visits.

Food is the one medicine we all take, multiple times, every day.  Proper nutrition can drastically reduce future and/or current medical burdens based on safe, reliable nutritional research that has been sustainable and successful for centuries.  Hippocrates said it best in 460 B.C. – “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
